Padmini leads the international and payroll outsourcing teams based in the Sydney office. Having joined the firm in 2018, Padmini has proven her unstinting ability to consistently achieving high outcomes, in a fast-paced environment.

Padmini is a Chartered Accountant and a long-standing member of the ICAI, also having undertaken training with The Tax Institute, Australia. She received her bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Pune, bagging several prestigious academic awards.

She brings more than 15 years of experience in the global outsourcing industry, having successfully delivered compliance solutions for accounting and reporting, payroll, as well as providing tax compliance services to her clients. She has wide experience with international inbounds, counting several Fortune 500 multinationals among them. Her experience ranges across a wide spectrum of industries including aviation, pharmaceuticals, high end fashion retail, engineering, petroleum, real estate investment trusts, online retailers as well as information technology.

Padmini has been instrumental in spear heading many a service line, building a dedicated team and drawing on her experience to provide exceptional services.

Saqib Rahim, Associate Director – audit, Melbourne

Saqib joined the firm in 2018 from a Big 4 firm and works across both Mazars financial advisory, audit and assurance divisions. With over 11 years in Australia and the UK, Saqib has worked with listed and private companies in various sectors including manufacturing, retail, IT, telecommunication, biotech, construction and consumer products. Saqib brings a wide range of technical skills and expertise that help clients find tailor-made solutions for complex and technical issues.

As a key contributor to the development of Melbourne's financial advisory division, he focuses on financial due diligence on both the buying and selling sides, assisting clients in making informed decisions. Saqib excels in delivering customised technical solutions in a pragmatic manner, helping clients navigate complex technical areas.

Joel Orbita, Associate Director, business advisory, Melbourne

Joel joined the firm in 2021 and as an Associate Director in the business advisory division works with high net worth individuals to large privately owned businesses and family groups. Joel works alongside a diverse range of clients by providing strategic accounting and tax advice.

Joel enjoys working closely with his clients in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with them as their trusted advisor on matters such as business structuring, tax compliance, capital gains and complex tax issues. His experience in boutique, mid-tier and big 4 firms has given him a unique approach to finding solutions in a wide range of situations across various industries.

Adrian Citton, Associate Director, business advisory, Sydney

Adrian joined the firm in 2015 as a Cadet and has advanced to the position of Associate Director within 8 years. He has experience providing advisory, accounting, and taxation services to a diverse clientele, spanning both local and international businesses across various industries.

Acting as a key point of contact for his clients, Adrian develops a deep understanding of their needs and delivers tailored solutions backed by his extensive knowledge and sharp business acumen. His expertise extends to assisting businesses in growing their operations in and outside Australia and ensuring compliance with accounting, taxation, corporate secretarial, and payroll requirements.

Adrian is the winner of the 2021 Accountants Daily 30 Under 30 Business Advisory Award, a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney. 

Yan Flageul, Associate Director, HR consulting, Melbourne

Since joining the firm in 2022 Yan has rapidly advanced his career within the human resources field, leveraging his extensive experience in people management and strong business acumen to position human resources as a conduit to business excellence. Yan’s contributions have been instrumental in supporting HR managers and employers throughout the employee life-cycle. With his ability to shift focus from one area to the next, he is able to assist organisations across all industries, including the NFP sector. Yan brings valuable experience in Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) to the table, emphasising the critical role these aspects play in fostering harmonious workplace relationships. Yan is set to play a crucial role in championing HR excellence and guiding businesses towards growth and compliance, all while upholding a human approach to chartered accounting and HR consulting, as well as recognising the social aspect of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) within organisations.

Jack Fuller, Senior Consultant, HR and IR consulting, Brisbane

Jack joined Mazars in 2022 as an experienced Consultant, and after taking a short Associateship with an eminent Fair Work Commissioner to expand his industrial relations expertise, returned to Mazars swiftly advancing to an associate director level as a Senior Consultant.

Alongside Jack’s Associateship his relevant experience encompasses working in a number of top tier law firms, including contributing to the successful appellant’s case in the landmark Workpac v Rossato High Court decision. Jack has also worked with the United Nations on human trafficking legislation and is a published author on reducing demand for trafficked wildlife.

Jack is a trusted adviser to clients and values working in partnerships to deliver meaningful, strategic outcomes to support clients achieving their business goals. He brings invaluable, real world experience to all areas of industrial and workplace relations including, but not limited to, unfair dismissal and general protections claims, enterprise bargaining, stop bullying applications, and industrial disputes.
