Mazars announces new audit and financial advisory partner and two senior promotions

Mazars in Australia is delighted to announce the appointment of new audit and financial advisory partner, Alexis Aupied and two Associate Director promotions. The promotions reflect the ongoing commitment to deliver high quality bespoke services to clients and develop the careers and capabilities of our people.

It’s fulfilling to celebrate these promotions, which reflect not only the growth of our people but also the diversity and culture of the firm.”

Alexis Aupied joins the Mazars’ Melbourne office as a Partner in the audit and financial advisory divisions with 14 years’ experience as an audit advisor. Alexis’ breadth of experience accumulated in Europe, Oceania and Asia adds significant value to the firm and its clients.

Alexis started his career in Paris before relocating to Australia 11 years ago. Prior to joining Mazars, Alexis was a director at EY where he was the French business desk leader as well as a cultural diversity champion. 

Alexis is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia & New Zealand. He is also Director and Treasurer of the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce (FACCI) and a casual lecturer at the University of Melbourne.

With a track record of uninterrupted growth and career progression tied to education, empowerment and strong aspirations, Mazars promotes Uliana Subbotina and Padmini Dixit each to Associate Director positions. 

Uliana Subbotina,Associate Director - Audit and assurance: Through 15 years’ experience in public practice Uliana has developed significant technical expertise in the delivery of assurance and financial reporting services across a wide variety of private and public entities from diverse industry sectors. These capabilities are reflected in Uliana’s qualifications as a Registered Company Auditor, Certified External Examiner – Legal Profession Uniform Law and as a Member of CPA Australia.

Uliana’s passion for navigating challenging technical issues and complex client structures is often at the forefront of her work and evident in her team leadership roles within Mazars.  Uliana represents Mazars Australia on the Asia Pacific Training Committee and was recently appointed as a Deputy Head of Quality Control for the APAC QC Committee.

Providing value through her insights, Uliana skilfully delivers the technical rigour of audit services with a care and understanding that our clients expect.

 

Padmini Dixit, Associate Director - AOS: Padmini joined the Mazars partnership in 2018, bringing with her 17 years’ of industry experience, 13 of which specialised in global outsourcing. Padmini’s expertise lies in the areas of accounting and tax compliance, payroll, corporate secretarial services and outsourcing for multinational corporations including Fortune 500 companies, spanning across a wide range of industries. Padmini supports clients at every stage of their development.

Padmini is a long standing member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, with qualifications from the Taxation Institute of Australia.
