Owen Dingle Director
As a Director with Mazars, I work closely with clients both small and large to acquire their next strategic asset through a tailored due diligence process that assists clients in making their purchase decision.
By working independently for clients this means that sound purchasing decisions can be made independently of the information presented by the seller, agent, valuers and Banks. Drawing on my 18 years’ experience in banking and finance, I have proven to be a real sounding board for businesses looking for their next purchase.
I also use my banking and finance knowledge to help the next generation in family businesses use available funding options to smoothly transition and deliver into succession plans. I enjoy working with my clients to help them create robust and practical growth strategies.
I lead the Farm Debt Advisory team that is on the QRIDA panel for the Farm Debt Restructure Office in Qld. Since joining the panel, in mid 2019, I have had the opportunity to travel extensively across Queensland from Charleville to Mt Garnett and Toowoomba to Mackay, allowing myself to successfully produce a wide range of reports aimed at delivering client focused outcomes that are independent of the Bank and are not likely to be left in the bottom draw. Pleasingly many of the recommendations within my reports have been adopted by clients resulting in a successful outcome for the client, their bank and family. Key industries have included beef, sugar, small crops, trawlers, pigs, bees, orchards, sheep and goats.
Whilst I work across many sectors, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of the agribusiness sector, having grown up on the land, (and still maintaining a cattle property of my own!).
