Mark Sheridan Consultant

Mark Sheridan

I use extensive experience and a deep understanding of a wide variety of industries, to help my clients achieve their financial goals.

I have over forty years’ experience in business leadership, accounting, audit and assurance, including over 20 years with global accounting firms in partner roles. Having held numerous honorary treasurer roles of several charitable organisations and having served as a member of numerous government, private company committees and boards, I am passionate about advancing the industry and sharing my accumulated knowledge.  I am an active contributor in the community providing many hours of pro-bono professional services to a wide range of charitable organisations, assisting them in developing stronger financial rigour and improved corporate governance.

I currently serve as Chairman of Queensland Eye Institute and was formerly a committee member of the Auctioneers & Agents Committee, board member of the Queensland Art Gallery Society and National Audit Director on the International Audit and Accounting Committee of a mid-tier international accounting firm.

Whilst I have a vast experience across a broad range of practice areas, my expertise lies in the fields of audit, assurance and business advising. This ranges from Corporate leadership, Strategic and Business Planning, through to Business Advisory Services and Litigation Support and Expert Witness advice, to name a few.

Throughout my career, and client engagements, some of the industries I have developed a deep understanding of include Charities and Not-for-profit, Financial Services, Building and Construction and Professional Services providers.

Outside of work, I am a family man, and have a number of sporting interests that are followed closely from the grand stand or the couch, including cricket, rugby league, rugby union and tennis.
