Eve Harward Principal Consultant

Eve Harward

I lead the outsourced HR service offering and am a key member of the HR consulting team. My experience working in line human resources roles and more than 10 years in HR and IR consulting drives my desire to assist organisations in designing and implementing human resource systems that proactively manage the employment relationship.

My background in industrial relations and human resources, experience across diverse work settings and psychology qualifications combine to provide my clients with practical responses to a wide range of workplace challenges. I derive great personal satisfaction from helping clients navigate legal and cultural workplace risks and maximising opportunities to achieve their organisational objectives. I have a reputation of being deeply committed to my clients and going above and beyond in service delivery.

I have experience working with a wide variety of organisations, from small businesses through to large national enterprises and across the not-for-profit, public and private sectors.

Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mind means that I am a particularly skilled investigator and have extensive experience in this area across a wide range of issues including bullying, breaches of policy and other workplace conduct and misconduct matters. My logical and pragmatic approach is invaluable when it comes to drafting employment contracts and agreements, workplace policies and providing advice regarding terminations and redundancies.

I have a particular expertise in analysing the financial implications of employment matters, thus allowing businesses to make informed business decisions. This has proved useful to clients across a wide array of applications, including for example, better off overall test (BOOT) assessments for enterprise bargaining and assessment of organisational restructure options.

My logical and pragmatic approach is invaluable when it comes to assessing performance at the individual, team and organisational levels, whether it be as part of an individual development plan or a broader review at a business unit level.
